Before reaching out, you should know what you would like to achieve. You don't need to know what to do, but knowing what you would like the outcome to be is beneficial. Of course, part of that is having an understanding of your budget for the event. That can help guide us as we discuss how to achieve those goals.
As best you can, identify the WHERE, WHEN, and WHO of your event. The WHERE means to have an idea of where you might be holding this, both city and specific venue. The specific venue can let us know the space available and help to guide ideas. The WHEN should be the date of your event as well as time of day and length of the event that is available. The WHO should be the type of people involved, such as teachers, faculty, students or parents, as well as how many there might be. We know that you might not know those details, but the more you know the more specific we can be.
